A new report, commissioned by the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation and based on analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agriculture Statistics Service, Hawaii’s seed crop industry is experiencing exponential growth and serves as one of the few stable sectors for jobs in the state.

The report highlights the important role biotechnology has played in Hawaii’s expanding seed industry and urges continued research and development.
